Welsh Bacc students have taken part in a fundraising project to raise money for SOS AFRICA with the key goal of making a difference for underprivileged children.

This year has been extra special as we have seen the previous fundraising totals smashed with a new record of £1500, which means that the SOS AFRICA fundraising project (co-ordinated by Social Science Lecturer Martin Dix) has now amassed a grand total of £2500 over the last three years.

Congratulations to the Netball Academy on winning Division 2 of the Welsh Colleges Netball League.

The girls have shown a great deal of commitment to win the league and now train three times per week as part of the Sports Academy programme. The team is coached by Sarah Lewis and Linda Williams with the full squad listed below:
